World WIZO welcomes young chaverot from all over the world to its 2017 WIZO Aviv Ambassadors’ Seminar. Here, You will be given valuable tools to become tomorrows’ WIZO leaders, enabling you to inspire and empower other women to drive the WIZO message into the future. During the seminar, you will also learn about WIZO’s crucial and life-saving work as a leading social servces provider in Israel. You will visit WIZO projects and meet the people for whom WIZO has changed their lives for the better.

World WIZO applauds you, our Aviv delegates, who have made time out of your busy home schedules to come to Israel to ‘see and believe’ and bond with other women, from all walks of life, who demonstrate their Zionism and volunteerism through WIZO.

You, the young Aviv ambassadors, are crucial to WIZO’s future and we thank you for answering WIZO’s call and for your promise to spread the WIZO impact with passion.

Welcome to the 2017 WIZO Aviv Ambassadors Seminar!

As in previous years, the WIZO Aviv Ambassadors Seminar will take place in Tel Aviv from 5^th -9^th  November.

The seminar is a week-long conference aimed at cultivating young Jewish women’s leadership. Attendees hail from 15 countries around the globe, including Brazil, Chile, India, Germany, Sweden, Panama, South Africa, UK and USA. Aviv is a special subgroup of WIZO, which was launched to encourage and nurture the next generation of WIZO leadership (until the age of 45).

The seminar has several goals, amongst others providing participants with leadership and public diplomacy (hasbara) training giving participants tools for effective event planning, fundraising and membership recruitment, as well as allowing for networking and the exchange of ideas between the emerging leadership of WIZO federations worldwide.

In addition participants will experience the sights and sounds of Israel: Tel Aviv street art tour, creative workshop with Hanoch Piven, the world famous Israeli artist,  biblical party in the Judean desert and of course visits to a myriad of WIZO projects enabling them to experience first-hand the vast scope of the organization’s work.
