About the WIZO Aviv Young Leadership Mission 2018

For the first time ever, this year the Mission will be based in Jerusalem in celebration of the 70^th anniversary of Israeli Independence. Participants will gather in Jerusalem from around the world from all over the USA, Brazil, South Africa, Finland, Panama and more for 5 days filled with opportunities to deepen their connection to Israel and WIZO’s ideology.

The participants will share a meaningful Shabbat in Jerusalem and visit the Kotel, providing a special time for the development of lasting bonds between the Aviv women and the creation of lasting connections which  drawn upon in the participant’s future WIZO work. Professional workshops in fundraising and advocacy are integral to the Mission and of course, interactive visits to WIZO projects forms the core of the Mission.

Participants will think, share, learn and work together before returning to their home Federations to continue supporting WIZO’s vital work.

Welcome to Israel! 

World WIZO welcomes young chaverot from all over the world to its 2018 WIZO Aviv Young Leadership Mission. Here, You will be given valuable tools to become tomorrows’ WIZO leaders, enabling you to inspire and empower other women to drive the WIZO message into the future. During the mission, you will also learn about WIZO’s crucial and life-saving work as a leading social servces provider in Israel. You will visit WIZO projects and meet the people for whom WIZO has changed their lives for the better.

World WIZO applauds you, our Aviv delegates, who have made time out of your busy home schedules to come to Israel to ‘see and believe’ and bond with other women, from all walks of life, who demonstrate their Zionism and volunteerism through WIZO.

You, the young Aviv ambassadors, are crucial to WIZO’s future and we thank you for answering WIZO’s call and for your promise to spread the WIZO impact with passion.

Dearest Chaverot,

We are honored to be the Co- World WIZO Aviv representatives, and are so excited to be leaders in the incredible family of WIZO sisters from around the world.  As proud and passionate Jewish Zionistas, we hope to educate and connect like-minded young women to inspire them to become leaders in their own communities as well with Am Yisrael.

We were both raised with WIZO as part of our extended families so it was natural for us to continue the work that countless incredible women have done before us. It is crucial for younger women to take the lead and continue carrying the WIZO torch to ensure the future of Eretz Yisrael, Klal Yisrael and Am Yisrael.
